Christopher Hood and Taylor Bartlett have been selected as speakers for upcoming continuing legal education seminar on Litigating the Prescription Drug Case: Key Events Prior to Trial.
Attorneys every year file thousands of cases involving injuries allegedly caused by prescription drugs. Good judgment about which cases to file and where to file them is important, because most prescription drug cases present problems of causation and choices of forum and venue. Advantages in substantive law and especially in procedure can follow from the choice. This seminar is designed to acquaint practitioners with those issues, and to survey the prescription drug case from intake through motions practice. The topics address the most important events in the usual case, because the number of cases tried is small compared to those that settle or are successfully defended to dismissal or summary judgment.
Join Chris and Taylor on September 11th, 1:30–4:45PM at the Sheraton Birmingham.
