HGD is excited to welcome Matt Buyck to our Birmingham team as our new Systems Administrator. Matt will lead the team in IT, from network solutions to troubleshooting technical issues. Matt is originally from Tampa, Florida, where he was born and raised. He moved to Birmingham in 2008.
Matt’s interest in IT began with his grandfather Larry, who was a software developer. He attended Jeff State, where he pursued a degree in Information Technology. Shortly after finishing there, Matt began working with BTS Technologies where he has worked for the last six years.
Matt’s interests outside of IT and computers include following sports teams such as the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Florida Gators. He also enjoys bouldering/indoor climbing, hiking, riding his motorcycle, playing video games, and finding the best pizza or tacos available. Welcome to the team, Matt!
