HGD hosted the first rounds of our 3rd Annual Closing Argument “In Summation” competition this week with law school students from Birmingham School of Law and Cumberland School of Law competing to make it to the final round. Congratulations to the following students who will be competing on Wednesday, October 18 for the top three spots:

- Judson Sills – BSL
- Tiffany Simms – Cumberland
- Amanda Wineman – Cumberland
These competitors will be competing for cash prizes and award’s plaques.

Thanks to all of our competitors who participated in the first round of the competition. HGD takes great pride in this event and the learning opportunity it provides for students attending law school. Our goal is to encourage advocacy and reward those law students for advancing their advocacy skills.
