HGD was a proud sponsor of the Greater Birmingham Humane Society Auxiliary (GBHSA) Community Awards Luncheon at The Club on December 1. The purpose of the organization is to assist the Greater Birmingham Humane Society by volunteering and raising funds to support their many programs and community efforts. The luncheon recognized those who have served and continue to serve our community, as the Auxiliary celebrates more than 30 years of service.

Auxiliary members hold fundraisers throughout the year and also work as volunteers at the shelter and support other GBHS events, such as the Holiday Giving Tree. These events generate thousands of dollars for the GBHS. HGD congratulates our friend and client, Angie Ingram, on winning the Lucy Thompson Marsh Award in appreciation for advancing the spirit and mission of the GBHS.
