On March 1, 2025, HGD Law Firm proudly participated in The Exceptional Foundation's 21st Annual Chili Cook-Off at Brookwood Village, embracing the theme "Bring the Heat: Baseball Style." This event, renowned as one of Birmingham's favorite annual fundraisers, featured over 150 teams competing to showcase their culinary skills, all in support of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
HGD's team of dedicated cooks—Callen Sparrow, Lisa Mann, Cheryl Thomas, Kaye Ricco, and Faye Marvin—crafted a chili that resonated with both flavor and flair. Our booth, adorned with baseball-inspired decor, attracted numerous attendees who enjoyed not only our chili but also the assortment of goodies we distributed.
The event drew a crowd of over 13,000 chili enthusiasts, reflecting the community's robust support for The Exceptional Foundation's mission. Our team members volunteered throughout the day, embodying HGD Law Firm's commitment to community engagement and service.
Participating in this cook-off allowed us to connect with our community beyond the courtroom, reinforcing our dedication to client-centered service and integrity.
