HGD was proud to join  “Time To Vote,” a business-led, nonpartisan coalition that aims to increase voter participation in the U.S. elections in 2020. Voter turnout in the U.S. is one of the lowest in the developed world and one of the most common reasons people give for not voting is that they are too busy with the demands of life and work. The coalition, which represents more than six million workers in the U.S., is addressing this challenge by giving employees the time and the tools they need to exercise their right to vote in the November general election.

HGD is offering all employees paid time off to vote on Tuesday, November 8. In addition to offering all employees paid time off to vote, HGD is also actively promoting initiatives such as early voting and absentee voting.

HGD strongly believes that no one should have to choose between earning a paycheck and voting. We are committed to supporting our employees’ right to vote and want to make sure they do not have to make that tough decision. We hope other businesses will join us and become a part of a “Time to Vote!”

Time to Vote  is a non-partisan effort that demonstrates the power of what the business community can achieve when it works to address the most significant issues of our time. Together, we can have an even greater impact. Join us.
