HGD had the distinct honor of hosting the Women’s Lawyers Section Reception, celebrating the life and legacy of Judge Anne Durward. She was the recipient of the Miss Nina Miglionico Paving the Way Award. It was a heartfelt evening filled with reflections, stories, and tributes to a remarkable woman who left an indelible mark on the legal community. The award was accepted by her parents, Dr. Thomas G. Lamkin and Mrs. Anne Lamkin, along with her husband, Mr. John Durward.
Judge Durward was a true trailblazer, known for her unwavering commitment to justice, mentorship of young lawyers, and her advocacy for women’s rights in the profession. The gathering was a beautiful reminder of the profound impact she had on all who knew her.
