Heninger Garrison Davis, LLC along with the Alabama Association for Justice, sponsored a trip for the HGD Law Clerks to visit Montgomery for tours of the state buildings and legal presentations. The visit included the following:
- A tour of the Alabama Supreme Court Building, Appellate Courts and the State Law Library.
- Lunch at the Alabama Associate of Justice (ALAJ) with a presentation by Othni Lathram, the Secretary and Director of the Alabama Law Institute; Ginger Avery, Executive Director ALAJ; Justin Bailey, Deputy Executive Director ALAJ and our tour guide Johnnie Smith, Director of Outreach ALAJ.
- A tour of the Capital.
- A tour of the Alabama Senate Chambers with a presentation by D. Patrick Harris, Secretary of the Senate.
- Then, finally a presentation by John H. Merrill, Alabama Secretary of State.
