HGD’s Erik Heninger was the guest speaker for the Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) Emerging Leader’s CLE and luncheon held on Wednesday, October 5 at HGD’s Birmingham office. The topic of discussion was “Effective Communication by Telling Stories.” Erik concentrates his practice on civil litigation focusing on catastrophic injuries, medical negligence, trucking and nursing home litigation. He currently serves as President of ALAJ and represents the 10th Judicial Circuit as an Alabama State Bar Commissioner.

Erik is a member of the Alabama Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA); has been named as one of the “Top 50 Lawyers” in Alabama; is the author of numerous articles, including “A Brief Analysis of Nonverbal Communication in the Courtroom,” published in Alabama Trial Lawyers Journal, and teaches trial advocacy topics nationwide. He is also a Fellow of the American Association of Justice’s National College of Advocacy.
Erik is a member of the State Bars of Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi and maintains a consistent presence in each state.
