Caroline Hollingsworth, an attorney in the Mass Tort Department at Heninger Garrison Davis, has been named one of 33 participants in the 8th Leadership Hoover class. This annual program is designed to bring together community leaders from various sectors to explore the city's strengths and challenges while fostering collaboration and civic engagement.
As part of the program, participants attend monthly sessions to gain insights into different aspects of the Hoover community, including its businesses, government, and nonprofit organizations. In addition, each member works on a group project aimed at addressing a specific community need, with the results presented at graduation.
Hollingsworth’s group is focused on creating a comprehensive mental health and wellness website. This platform will serve as a centralized resource, providing valuable information about organizations, tools, and materials to help individuals address specific mental health challenges. Currently, the team is engaging with local leaders to ensure the project is thoughtfully developed and meets the community’s needs.
The Leadership Hoover program not only empowers its participants with knowledge and connections but also inspires them to create meaningful initiatives like Hollingsworth’s project, which has the potential to make a lasting impact on the community.
