Brandy L. Robertson

Brandy Robertson, partner at Heninger Garrison Davis Law Firm, has been appointed as the Board Secretary/Treasurer for the Alabama Head Injury Foundation (AHIF) for the fiscal year 2025. This role underscores her commitment to supporting individuals affected by traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and their families.

Robertson's dedication to AHIF spans several years. She began her involvement in 2016 as an active member of the Birmingham Regional Board, where she served as President during the 2018-2019 term. In 2020, she advanced to the organization's Board of Directors, contributing her expertise and leadership to further AHIF's mission.

Her passion for AHIF's cause is deeply personal. Robertson's niece suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident; had she survived, she would have required the services AHIF provides. This personal connection fuels Robertson's dedication to the foundation's work.

The Alabama Head Injury Foundation, established in 1983, is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the quality of life for TBI survivors and their families. AHIF offers a range of services, including resource coordination, respite care, recreational support groups, and therapy camps. These programs are designed to assist individuals in transitioning from medical facilities to environments that promote safety, recovery, and independence.

In her capacity as Board Secretary/Treasurer, Robertson will oversee the foundation's financial health and governance, ensuring that AHIF continues to provide essential services to Alabama's TBI community. Her legal expertise and personal commitment position her as an asset to the foundation's leadership team.

Robertson's involvement with AHIF exemplifies the impactful role that dedicated professionals can play in community-focused organizations. Through her leadership, AHIF is poised to enhance its support for TBI survivors and their families, fostering a community where individuals affected by brain injuries can thrive.
