“Every Alabamian has a constitutional right to a trial by jury, and I’m going to do my absolute best to protect that important right,” said Josh Hayes, newly elected President of the ALAJ. “As president of the Alabama Association for Justice, I see my job as ensuring everyone has a level playing field if they are injured or harmed.”

“Josh Hayes has given more than a decade of his life in volunteer service to the Alabama Association for Justice because he believes strongly in our mission of ‘Great Lawyers. Great Laws.’ — and for that I’m grateful,” said ALAJ Executive Director Ginger Avery.

“No Alabama citizens and businesses wish to find themselves in court, but if that day ever happens, our organization is there to ensure they have equal access to justice,” Baker said, the newest ALAJ officer.

The Alabama Association for Justice is a plaintiff’s attorney organization that represents the needs of consumers and businesses seeking redress through the courts. Its members are dedicated to protecting the 7th Amendment and the right to a trial by jury.
