Erik Heninger and Drew Haskins recently settled a wrongful death case against an Alabama nursing home for a confidential amount. The decedent’s family brought the wrongful death claim after the decedent developed multiple Stage IV pressure ulcers in the nursing home. The lawsuit alleged that the nursing home’s staff members who were responsible for overseeing the care of the decedent were negligent in their failure to properly recognize, diagnose and treat the pressure ulcers.
