UPDATE JUNE 2017:  HGD IS NO LONGER TAKING NEW CLIENTS FOR THE WELLS FARGO PHONY ACCOUNT SUIT.

Heninger Garrison Davis, LLC is currently investigating allegations that Wells Fargo employees have opened secret accounts or applied for credit card without their customer’s consent.

The federal government and the national media report that Wells Fargo opened secret accounts for more than one million customers and applied for credit cards without customer consent, potentially causing each such customer harm.  The injuries could include damage to your credit report and credit score and you may not even know it yet.

In a recent article, attached here for your convenience, CNN reported that “the scope of the scandal is shocking. An analysis conducted by a consulting firm hired by Wells Fargo concluded that bank employees opened over 1.5 million deposit accounts that may not have been authorized. . . . Additionally, Wells Fargo employees also submitted applications for 565,443 credit card accounts without their customers’ knowledge or consent. Roughly 14,000 of those accounts incurred over $400,000 in fees, including annual fees, interest charges and overdraft-protection fees.”
